Construction of the Artificial Intelligence Center and IT Park continues at the Tajik State University of Law, Business, and Politics (TSULBP) to train highly qualified specialists and create modern learning environments, according to the press service of the Sughd Regional Administration.
The center will include a 700-seat conference hall, an IT park, a museum, and smaller rooms for research presentations, creating ample opportunities for the development of science and technology. Major construction work has been completed, and finishing and painting work has begun. The center is planned to be equipped with modern equipment and become a key facility for the development of science, research, and the training of high-level specialists.
During an inspection of the construction site, Sughd Region Chairman Rajab Akhmadzoda instructed the university's leadership and responsible officials to ensure high-quality work and equip the center with all necessary equipment and consumables.
The creation of these scientific and educational centers is being implemented within the framework of the instructions of the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, and is aimed at developing the education sector and training specialists who meet the modern requirements of the labor market.
TSUPBP has five academic buildings with 130 classrooms, a modern dormitory, a research library, a gym and sports fields, computer and language labs, forensic labs, a courtroom, a television studio, a legal clinic, and training centers. The university trains specialists in six faculties: 49 undergraduate programs, 12 graduate programs, and 9 PhD programs.
Thirteen new pedagogical and technical specializations have been created for the 2024–2025 academic year. Admissions are already underway. This year, 760 students were enrolled through the National Testing Center under the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, 485 of whom were full-time students and 275 were enrolled in part-time and distance learning programs. A total of 7,856 students are enrolled at the university, an increase of 1,640 compared to the previous academic year.
