The 58th meeting of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS Member States will take place in the Irkutsk Region on May 26, according to the FSB Public Relations Center (PRC).
During the plenary session, participants will discuss measures to counter the escalation of religious radicalism, as well as issues of neutralizing transnational terrorist activity in the Commonwealth of Independent States.

According to the FSB's Public Relations Center, the meeting will assess the state of the collective anti-terrorism defense system. Participants will also review the results of joint anti-terrorism exercises conducted by competent authorities of CIS countries in 2025.
Special attention will be given to the results of the CIS cooperation program to combat terrorism and extremism in 2023–2025. The heads of intelligence agencies will also discuss the implementation of the deradicalization cooperation program for 2025–2027.
The head of the CIS Anti-Terrorism Center will report to the Council members on the results of its activities over the past year.
The event will also include meetings of the working bodies of the Council of Heads of Security Agencies and Special Services of the CIS in individual areas of operational and service activities.
