Sughd Regional Governor Rajab Akhmadzoda proposed to Chen Yun, head of the Chinese company Boshiran, to consider building cotton processing, cotton fiber, and textile production facilities in the region, according to the Sughd Regional Executive Authority.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed the possibility of creating joint ventures in the food industry and increasing agricultural exports.

The negotiations continued the cooperation initiated during the Sughd Region delegation's visit to China. From July 12 to 18 of this year, the delegation, led by Rajab Akhmadzoda, visited China, where they held talks with the management of Boshiran on further developing cooperation.
Boshiran specializes in the production of modern agricultural machinery and equipment. This equipment is used for sowing, growing, and harvesting cotton, rice, corn, and other crops.
As part of further cooperation, representatives of the Chinese company will conduct training seminars for agricultural producers in the Sughd region.
They plan to discuss the correct use of modern equipment and technology, efficient land management, timely application of mineral fertilizers, and other advanced agricultural practices.
