On October 24, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, commissioned three two-story residential buildings for young teachers in the village of Pushing in the Dangara district.
A new social facility was built by a group of generous village entrepreneurs without any public funding. The housing is intended for 40 young teachers and features modern, state-of-the-art living conditions, according to the press service of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The first to receive apartments were 11 young teachers who graduated from Khorog State University, Danghara State University, and the Tajik State Pedagogical University under the Presidential quota. They came from the Murghab, Ishkashim, Rushan, Roshtkala, and Shugnan districts of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region. These young professionals will teach science, Russian, and English to students at educational institutions in the village of Pushing in the Danghara district.
In the future, to improve the quality of education and attract qualified personnel, teachers and educators will be recruited through a competitive process at two secondary schools and two kindergartens in Pushing village. Plans are also underway to recruit 10 teachers each from the Khatlon and Sughd regions, as well as from other cities and districts across the country, who will be provided with modern housing in the village.
Emomali Rahmon, recalling the high calling of the teaching profession, called on young people to effectively utilize the opportunities provided and educate the younger generation in the spirit of knowledge and self-knowledge.
It's worth noting that the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, in his Address to the Majlisi Oli, instructed that the status of teachers in society be elevated and the quality of education be improved. Following the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Status of Teachers," the construction of residential buildings for young teachers in the village of Pushing became the first initiative in the country to simultaneously build apartments for 40 teachers, funded by private entrepreneurs.
Emomali Rahmon expressed gratitude to private sector representatives for constructing spacious apartments for teachers and providing housing for a group of graduates from Khorog State University, citing the entrepreneurs' initiative as a role model for the country.
According to the head of state, this initiative encourages teachers to conscientiously fulfill their professional duties and engage in the education and upbringing of the younger generation.
The courtyard of the residential buildings has been landscaped according to a modern design, and gazebos have been installed for relaxation and communication.
All the facilities commissioned today in the village of Pushing in the Dangara District were built without the use of public funds, but by generous entrepreneurs and village residents, in order to exemplarily fulfill the instructions of the Leader of the Nation to contribute to the improvement of their native land.
