During a working visit to the Khatlon region, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, commissioned a new Health Center in the village of Korez in the Dangara district and visited the garden of the Mirali Makhmadali farm in the Vose district.
The health center in the village of Korez is a two-story building containing 14 offices, including an admissions office, an immunization room, a treatment room, a procedure room, family physician offices, and a laboratory. Construction began in February of this year, with 20 local residents involved in the work.
The project was made possible thanks to the support of local entrepreneurs, who are committed to protecting public health and providing higher-quality medical services to village residents. The center is equipped with modern medical equipment, and qualified specialists will be provided with decent working conditions.
President Emomali Rahmon praised the quality of the construction work and encouraged specialists to provide modern medical services to the population using existing resources. The medical facility became a valuable gift to the residents of Korez village in honor of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence.
During his working visit, the Head of State also visited the Vose district, where he inspected the activities of the Mirali Mahmadali orchard farm in the Miraliobod rural jamoat. The farm grows pears, peaches, plums, persimmons, walnuts, and apricots. A greenhouse is also used to produce lemon seedlings, creating an additional source of income for the workers.
To ensure efficient use of the land, vegetable crops were planted between the rows of fruit trees: tomatoes, bell peppers, pumpkins, eggplants, melons, and, in the second sowing, carrots, turnips, cabbage, red beets, corn, and other agricultural crops.
Vose District, one of the largest agro-industrial regions in Khatlon Region, has a total arable land area of 23,334 hectares, of which 1,632 hectares are orchards. As of October 1, 2025, all forms of farming in the district produced over 36,000 tons of fruit and grapes.
After reviewing the condition of the fruit trees, the lemon cultivation in the greenhouse, and the rational use of land, the Head of State gave workers recommendations on the development of horticulture and viticulture, as well as on the efficient and rational use of each plot of land.
