On February 25, 2026, the first meeting of the State Commission on Radio Frequencies of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. During the meeting, the National Radio Frequency Allocation Plan of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Rules for the Permit-Based Allocation of the Radio Frequency Spectrum were comprehensively reviewed and approved. This was reported by the Communications Service of Tajikistan.
The National Plan has been adopted for the first time as a unified state regulatory document defining the legal basis for managing all frequency ranges from 8.3 kHz to 3000 GHz in the Republic of Tajikistan. The approved Rules establish a transparent and streamlined mechanism for issuing permits, allocating, and using the radio frequency spectrum, ensuring a unified regulatory framework for this strategic national resource.
Isfandiyor Sadullo, Chairman of the State Commission on Radio Frequencies of the Republic of Tajikistan and Head of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, emphasized in his speech that the adoption of these documents is an important step toward strengthening state policy in the area of radio frequency spectrum regulation and will contribute to its effective and targeted use, the sustainable development of the communications services and digital technology market, strengthening fair competition between operators, and protecting national security interests.
The Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is responsible for monitoring and implementing these documents. In the future, all decisions related to frequency allocation will be made exclusively within the framework of the approved National Radio Frequency Allocation Plan of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Rules for the Permit-Based Allocation of the Radio Frequency Spectrum.
