Police officers in the Khovaling, Jaykhun, and Yavan districts have uncovered cases of mobile phone and livestock theft, the Tajik Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
Thus, a 31-year-old resident of Dushanbe filed a report with the Khovaling District Department of Internal Affairs, reporting that on January 20, 2026, at approximately 2:00 a.m., unknown individuals broke the glass of the front door of the Dushanbe City service center in the Khovaling district, stole three phones of various brands, and fled the scene.
The damage amounted to 10,000 somoni. During the investigation, police officers determined that the crime was committed by a 16-year-old resident of the Khovaling district.
A 57-year-old local resident also filed a report with the Jaykhun District Department of Internal Affairs. She reported that on February 22, 2026, at approximately 5:20 AM, unknown individuals stole three small cattle from a barn in a residential building and fled.
The damage amounted to 15,000 somoni. As a result of investigative measures, police officers determined that the crime was committed by a 21-year-old and a 33-year-old local resident.
In addition, a 64-year-old local resident contacted the Yavan District Department of Internal Affairs with a statement that on February 20, 2026, unknown individuals stole one head of cattle from pasture lands and fled the scene of the crime.
The damage amounted to 7,000 somoni. Investigative actions revealed that the crime was committed by a 39-year-old resident of the city of Gissar.
