The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan organized and conducted advanced training courses for deputy chairmen of regions, cities, and districts of the republic responsible for social affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan reported.



On April 9, 2026, Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honored Lawyer of Tajikistan, Associate Professor, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Major General of Police Karim Soliev conducted a training session on the topic "Combating Human Trafficking."
During the course, it was noted that the primary objective of studying this topic is to organize coordinated activities among all authorized entities in accordance with the National Plan to Combat Human Trafficking for 2025–2027, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated July 24, 2025. These measures are aimed at reducing crime rates, eliminating factors contributing to the spread of this phenomenon, and enhancing the state's authority in the international arena.
Continuing his speech, Karim Soliev emphasized that over the past two years, the working group, led by the Chairman of the Interdepartmental Commission to Combat Human Trafficking, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, and Police Colonel General Abdurakhmon Alamshozoda, has held a significant number of meetings at the regional, city, and district levels. These events were attended by heads of executive authorities, territorial commissions, representatives of law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments, as well as the public, students, youth, religious leaders, and representatives of civil society institutions. It was noted that this work is ongoing.
In addition, conferences and training seminars are held in all cities and regions of the country with the participation of representatives of law enforcement agencies, businesses and government agencies.
During the course, participants were provided with detailed information on the measures and initiatives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to combat human trafficking, as well as mechanisms for providing assistance to victims of this crime.
Following the advanced training courses, participants made constructive suggestions and recommendations aimed at improving activities and achieving practical results in this area.
