The IV Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF-2025) has begun its work in the capital of Uzbekistan. Official events, including a large-scale investment exhibition, started on June 9, and the main business program runs from June 10 to 12.
The forum traditionally brings together over 3,000 participants from more than 100 countries. The event is attended by heads of state, ministers, representatives of international financial institutions, experts in sustainable development, innovation and digital transformation, as well as heads of leading global companies and investment funds.
Particular attention this year is paid to the participation of European countries. From June 8 to 10, Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico was on an official visit to Uzbekistan at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. During the visit, negotiations were held on issues of expanding cooperation in such strategically important areas as industry, energy, tourism and labor migration. Fico is also participating in the forum.
From June 9 to 11, Bulgarian President Rumen Radev is visiting the republic. He plans to hold meetings with the country's leadership, sign a number of bilateral agreements and take part in key sessions of the forum.
Other high-level participants include delegations from EU countries, including Germany and France, as well as investor representatives from China, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Turkey. Delegations from Russia and Central Asian states are also taking part in the event.
The main topics of the forum cover a wide range of areas: development of small and medium-sized businesses, industrial growth (including automotive and mechanical engineering), water resources, legal protection of investors, fintech and e-commerce, green energy, privatization, investment reforms, digitalization and the introduction of artificial intelligence.
For the first time, an investment exhibition will be held within the framework of TIIF-2025, where large private and public companies present their projects to potential international investors.
The third plenary session of the Foreign Investors Council under the President of Uzbekistan will be held on June 11. Participation of heads of leading global corporations and international financial organizations is expected.
Since 2022, the Tashkent International Investment Forum has become an important platform for concluding 357 investment agreements worth a total of $44 billion. Of these, 57 projects have already been implemented, the rest are at the design and construction stage.
Forum 2025 confirms Uzbekistan’s status as one of the leading investment centres in Central Asia, promoting international economic dialogue and developing business partnerships.
