A working group has been established in Tajikistan to implement digitalization projects for the education system. The group's first meeting took place on October 17 at the Republican Center for Analysis, Information, and Digital Technologies, according to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The main purpose of the working group is to coordinate the TechEd project, monitor the implementation of key areas of digitalization in the educational sphere, and develop a sustainable plan for the transition to digital learning in educational institutions across the country.
The meeting was attended by Homid Khoshimzoda, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Tajikistan, and Eri Dwivedi , representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). In their speeches, they emphasized the importance of interagency cooperation, sharing best practices, and implementing modern digital technologies in the educational process.
As noted, digitalization of education is one of the priority areas of Tajikistan's state policy in the field of education and is aimed at improving the quality of education, ensuring equal access to educational resources, and training teachers to use digital tools.
The meeting participants discussed the working group's action plan, key stages of the TechEd project, and mechanisms for cooperation between government agencies, educational institutions, international partners, and civil society representatives.
Following the meeting, it was noted that the working group will become a national platform for effective interaction between all stakeholders in the digital transformation of the education system in the Republic of Tajikistan.
