On October 4, 2025, a ceremony was held in the conference room of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan to commemorate the birthday of President Emomali Rahmon, State Language Day, and Operational Workers' Day. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel-General of Police Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, the ministry's leadership, operational personnel, and representatives of other agencies engaged in operational activities, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan reported.
During the event, the achievements of the President of Tajikistan and his important role in restoring peace and stability, strengthening tranquility, progress, and development of the independent state were recognized.
The Minister of Internal Affairs emphasized the key role of law enforcement's operational units in combating crime, identifying illegal activity, and maintaining public order and safety. He stated that it is thanks to the professional contributions of operational officers that crimes are solved, perpetrators of illegal acts are apprehended, and social and legal justice is ensured in the country.
At the event, by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Rahimzoda Ramazon Hamro, the winners of the "Best Operative" competition were awarded. The competition was held among employees of the internal affairs agencies, the State Committee for National Security, the Ministry of Defense, the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption, the Drug Control Agency under the President of Tajikistan, the Customs Service, the Main Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Punishments of the Ministry of Justice, and other law enforcement agencies.
The winners of the competition received the "Best Operative" badges of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, cash prizes, certificates of honor, and commemorative gifts.
Senior Lieutenant T.T. Davlatzoda, an officer of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan, was awarded the "Best Operative" badge and 5,000 somoni for first place. Police Captain Mukhammadrofei Avazkhon, an officer of the Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, was awarded the "Best Operative" badge and 4,000 somoni for second place. Captain S.F. Abdullozoda, an officer of the State Committee for National Security, was awarded the "Best Operative" badge and 3,000 somoni for third place. Senior Lieutenant Khusrav Amriddin Okilzoda, an officer of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, also received an award for active participation in the competition.
Other active participants in the competition were awarded certificates of honor and commemorative gifts. The event highlighted the importance of the professionalism and dedication of operational officers in ensuring security and law and order in Tajikistan.
