In Tajikistan, nearly 150 million somoni in alimony payments were collected for mothers and children in the first nine months of 2025, which is 126.5 million somoni more than in the same period last year. This was reported by the Enforcement Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan .
The agency clarified that approximately 98,900 decisions related to child support collection are being enforced. The service emphasized that systematic child support collection is an important social protection measure for children and supports families in which one parent fails to meet their financial obligations.
Earlier, the head of the Enforcement Service , Akhtam Abdullozoda, announced at a press conference that in the event of non-payment of child support, payers who fail to transfer the required amounts within two months are added to the debtor's registry . These individuals are subject to restrictions on crossing the state border and other enforcement measures aimed at ensuring the fulfillment of their financial obligations to their children.
The Enforcement Service notes that the active use of such measures allows for a significant increase in alimony payments and contributes to the protection of children's rights to receive financial support.
Law enforcement and executive bodies in Tajikistan continue to improve mechanisms for collecting alimony payments, including through the use of digital services for operational control and monitoring of transfers.
