On May 29, 2026, at the initiative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, together with other ministries and agencies of the country, an awards ceremony for the winners of the Republican competition "Youth against Corruption" was held in a solemn atmosphere in the building of the State Philharmonic of Tajikistan named after Akasharif Juraev, the Agency's press center reported.
The competition, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and Youth Month, was held from April 25 to May 23, 2026. Its main goal was to enhance the legal anti-corruption culture of the population and attract the attention of society, especially young people, to anti-corruption issues.
The event was attended by Lieutenant General of Justice S.S. Sultonzoda, Director of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, along with senior officials from the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies, the Committee on Youth Affairs and Sports, the Committee on Primary and Secondary Vocational Education, and the Committee on Television and Radio. The event was also attended by officials and students from higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of the Republic, representatives of international organizations, civil society, and the media.
The event began with a welcoming speech by the Director of the Agency, Sultonzoda Sulaimon Said, who congratulated all participants and winners of the Republican competition "Youth against Corruption" for their active participation.
Then, in a ceremonial setting, the winners of the final stage of the competition in the categories "Best Article," "Best Sketch or Social Video," and "Modern Anti-Corruption Initiative (Including Using Digital Technologies)" were presented with diplomas, letters of thanks, prizes, cash rewards, and other commemorative gifts for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as honorary places.
