This fall, Dushanbe will become a sporting hub for young judokas from across Asia. The capital of Tajikistan will host two Asian Judo Cups: the Cadet Asian Cup on November 20–21 and the Junior Asian Cup on November 22–23, 2025.
The competition is officially included in the calendar of the Asian Judo Union (JUA) and is the most important sporting event in the life of the country, aimed at the development and popularization of judo in the region.
The Dushanbe Cadet Asian Cup 2025 will be the first to kick off on November 20–21. The tournament will bring together the best young athletes from dozens of Asian countries, giving them the opportunity to showcase their skills and exchange experiences on the international stage.
The organisers stressed that the competition will be held in strict accordance with the high standards of the International Judo Federation (IJF), ensuring maximum safety and professional conditions for the participants.
A few days after the Cadet Cup, on November 22–23, the Junior Asian Cup 2025 will be held in Dushanbe. This tournament is particularly significant as it serves as a qualifying round for future continental and world championships. Therefore, the competition will be particularly attended by athletes, coaches, and official representatives of national federations.
