Since the evening of November 1, 2025, the Russian army has been attacking several regions of Ukraine, including Odesa, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhia. The strikes have left many people injured, including children, according to local authorities and law enforcement agencies.
According to a UNIAN correspondent, an air raid alert was issued around midnight. Monitoring channels warned of the movement of Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles from the Black Sea. The attack was carried out in two waves.
In the Odessa region, according to the regional prosecutor's office press service, the Russian army attacked the Izmail district. As a result, a fire broke out in an open parking lot housing five trucks. Two civilians were killed; their identities are being established. Three people were injured: a 42-year-old man was taken to the hospital, while a 42-year-old and a 48-year-old man received medical treatment at the scene.
The Izmail District State Administration reported that drones that crashed without detonating were also found in the district. One of the victims suffered thermal burns and is in moderate condition.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military-civil administration, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia with missiles overnight. As a result, two people were injured—a 44-year-old woman and a 91-year-old man. In the Polohovsky district of the region, one civilian was killed and one was wounded. Seventeen private homes were damaged. As a result of the attack, 11,434 customers remain without power, and power companies are continuing to clean up the aftermath.
On the evening of November 1, a bomb struck the Samara district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Four people were killed, including boys aged 11 and 14. A 50-year-old woman died in the hospital. The attack caused a fire, damaging a store, and at least seven private homes and cars.
As a reminder, on November 1, the Russian army launched a ballistic missile strike on Mykolaiv. One person was killed and approximately 20 were injured, including two children—a 12-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl. Preliminary reports indicate that the city was attacked by an Iskander-M missile with a cluster munition warhead. The victims sustained injuries of varying severity, and gas stations, vehicles, and infrastructure were damaged.
Investigations into the commission of war crimes resulting in the death of civilians are conducted by the prosecutor's office.
