A representative of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan participated in the Eurasian Economic Forum 2025, which was held from September 23 to 25 in Xi'an, China, under the theme "Connecting New Driving Forces in Eurasia to Create a Common Architecture for Sustainable Development," the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan reported.
The forum was attended by more than 500 politicians, entrepreneurs, and scientists from 40 countries, including members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and participants in the Belt and Road initiative.
Mustafa Loikzoda, a representative of the Institute of Geology, Earthquake Engineering, and Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, participated in the forum. He presented a report on the development of geology in Tajikistan, including scientific research, exploration for underground resources using modern technologies, and the current state of geological exploration and mining. During his presentation, the scientist also answered questions from forum participants.
The main goal of the forum is to support SCO initiatives, implement the "One Belt, One Road" strategy, implement the results of the China-Central Asia Summit, and promote local economic development.
The Eurasian Economic Forum was founded in 2005 by the State Council of the People's Republic of China and is held every two years. Since its inception, the forum has attracted over 10,000 participants from over 70 countries and regions, signing over 200 cooperation agreements and memoranda, facilitating the launch of major projects in energy, finance, transportation, and the humanities.
