The city of Levakant became the first in the Khatlon region to fully meet its 2025 cotton harvest plan. Today, Khatlon Governor Davlatali Said visited the Boboi Iskandar farm, where he learned about the harvest progress, the working conditions of the cotton growers, and the results of the work, the governor's press service reported .
During his visit, Davlatali Said praised the farmers' work and emphasized that, thanks to the round-the-clock efforts of their agricultural workers, Levakant achieved 101.99% of its planned production. The farm's cotton yield was very high, which, according to the regional governor, is the result of efficient water management, the use of high-quality seeds, and the diligent work of its workers.
"Achieving high cotton harvest results confirms the proper organization of agricultural processes and demonstrates that our farmers are capable of achieving maximum efficiency while using resources rationally," noted Davlatali Said.
The Boboi Iskandar farm employs dozens of workers who participate in the cotton harvest daily. Meeting the cotton harvest plan is crucial not only for providing textile factories with raw materials but also for creating new jobs and developing the region's light industry.
The press service of the head of the Khatlon region emphasized that Levakant can serve as an example for other districts of the region in terms of effectively organizing the cotton-growing campaign.
