On August 19, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, together with the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and Chairman of the City of Dushanbe, Rustami Emomali, inaugurated a new building in the capital of the country for the Shokhin Special Purpose Police Detachment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Department for the city of Dushanbe, the press service of the head of state reported.
Head of State Emomali Rahmon inspected the conditions created and spoke with the personnel of the detachment.
The new facility, consisting of a main building and three three-story auxiliary buildings, was constructed in accordance with modern architectural standards and the specific requirements of the industry.
During the familiarization, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, was informed that the new buildings were prepared in accordance with service standards and favorable working conditions.
In addition to offices, meeting rooms, and conference rooms, the newly constructed buildings of the Shokhin Special Police Detachment of the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs contain classrooms and specialized training areas equipped with the necessary industry-specific visual aids. Specifically, various types of industry-specific equipment, weapons, communications equipment, military uniforms, and other work equipment are housed here. To create adequate conditions for the team's personnel, a modern barracks was constructed in this building.
Two modern canteens with the latest amenities have been built here, one of which will serve in an open space during the summer.
During construction, special attention was paid to the improvement of the surrounding area; a parade ground and other auxiliary structures were erected in the courtyard of the facility.
The building also has a modern sports ground, which, in addition to hosting sports competitions, also provides opportunities for daily training and exercise for the unit's personnel.
Emomali Rahmon visited an exhibition of military equipment and machinery in the courtyard of the newly constructed facility. This exhibition showcased the most modern industry devices and accessories in use today. It was reported that the detachment's fleet consists of modern military vehicles and mechanisms, all of which are in good, constant readiness.
During a conversation with the detachment's personnel, the head of state emphasized that they must never lose their professional and political vigilance, are obligated to constantly improve their knowledge and skills, and are always prepared to overcome emergency and unforeseen situations.
Here, the Head of State presented the Shokhin Special Purpose Police Detachment of the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with new operational vehicles, which will provide practical assistance in the effective operation of this unit's personnel.
It was emphasized that all the latest living conditions, daily activities, and high-quality personnel training for special military operations should encourage everyone to serve faithfully and engage in appropriate training. Noting the extremely complex and unpredictable situation unfolding in the region and globally, the leadership of security and law enforcement agencies, as well as every service member of military units and special forces, was required to remain constantly prepared to defend the achievements of the independent Motherland and ensure the sustainable security and stability of our beloved Tajikistan.
