On January 28, 2026, a celebratory event dedicated to the national Sada holiday was held in a park in the city of Hisor. The event was attended by the mayor of the city, Jabbor Nosirzoda, a member of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oliy of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as a wide range of guests and residents, including farmers. This was reported by the city's press service.
As part of the festive program, an exhibition of agricultural equipment and machinery, folk crafts, blacksmithing, and national cuisine, including baked goods, was organized on Tojidin Mukhidin Street at the initiative of employees of the Department of Agriculture, institutions, and enterprises of the city's economic and social sectors.

After touring the exhibition, Jabbor Nosirzoda gave a speech about the Sada festival, its history, meaning, and purpose, noting the festival's important role in the lives of the people for millennia. He emphasized that Sada is the largest national holiday for Tajiks and their ancestors, celebrated since ancient times.
The mayor noted that thanks to the country's independence and the wise policies of President Emomali Rahmon, the people's traditions and national holidays have been revived and are gaining increasing significance. The Garden Festival is a symbol of national unity, solidarity, love, and respect for national culture and ancient traditions.

During the event, Jabbor Nosirzoda awarded "Letters of Gratitude" to leading workers and agricultural veterans who have made significant contributions to the industry's development and the country's food security.
