In Tajikistan, 40 officials have been held accountable for identified safety deficiencies in the industrial and mining sectors, according to the State Supervisory Service for Occupational Safety in Industry and Mining.
In addition, 226 legal entities and individuals who were registered businesses were subject to administrative penalties. The total fines imposed amounted to approximately 1.1 million somoni.

The supervisory service noted that the activities of the punished officials were characterized by an irresponsible attitude toward ensuring the necessary working conditions for employees, as well as violations of current labor protection legislation.
It is noted that such irresponsibility, and in some cases the ignorance of the workers themselves, led to industrial accidents. In 2025, 46 accidents were recorded, resulting in 40 worker deaths and another 27 injuries of varying severity.

Within its mandate, the State Supervisory Service issued 179 licenses for certain activities to registered enterprises, organizations, and facilities during the reporting period in accordance with established procedures. More than 3,900 enterprises and over 17,700 facilities were also registered.
It was reported that eight central state inspectorates and three comprehensive industrial safety inspectorates in the Sughd and Khatlon regions, as well as the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, conducted 49 technical inspections at registered enterprises and facilities. Of these, 23 were scheduled and 26 were unscheduled.
