On October 2, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon opened another anniversary site in the village of Kangurt in the Temurmalik district – the State Flag Square of the Republic of Tajikistan, the press service of the head of state reported.
The height of the flagpole of the State Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan is 65 meters, the length of the flag is 20 meters, and the width is 10 meters.
The State Flag Square was constructed with high quality in honor of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. The project was carried out by the Executive Authority of the District Government, as well as thanks to the contributions of entrepreneurs and patriotic citizens, including Anvar Kurbanov, Sherkhon Salimzoda, and Karomat Abdiev, with the aim of strengthening the self-awareness and self-knowledge of residents.
The modern design of the National Flag Square is very attractive and enhances the sense of patriotism of everyone who sees it, strengthens faith and hope in a bright future for Tajikistan, and encourages a willingness to defend national values and the achievements of the independence period.
In this regard, the Head of State, the respected Emomali Rahmon, during a conversation with the youth of the region, called them the creative and leading force of the present and future state.
The leader of the nation called on young men and women to study science, master foreign languages, and value the peace and stability of the Motherland.
Modern fountains have been built around the State Flag of the Republic of Tajikistan for residents to stroll around, and modern street lamps connected to solar panels have been installed.
From now on, various cultural events will be held here, which is an important means of fostering a sense of national identity in the country's future creative generation.
The head of state expressed gratitude to entrepreneurs and residents for their contribution to this very important matter.
In response, businessman Anvar Kurbonov stated that he plans to build a 400-seat preschool in the center of the village of Kangurt.
