The construction of additional buildings for educational institutions, a medical facility, and a drinking water supply line in the Temurmalik district—four important social and infrastructure facilities—were remotely inaugurated by Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, the head of state's press service reported.
These four facilities will contribute to the development of education, high-quality healthcare, and access to clean drinking water for the population.
The additional building at Secondary General Education Institution No. 10 was constructed with good design and quality, created to provide comfortable learning conditions for students in the village of Chavrok.
10 classrooms are designed for 480 students studying in two shifts, and well-equipped subject rooms facilitate theoretical and practical training of students.
The second additional building, in accordance with the same project, was constructed at Secondary General Education Institution No. 25 in the village of Chashma, Gurdovaron rural jamoat, and is designed for 480 students in two shifts.
With the rising standard of living and the constant population growth, it became necessary to build an additional educational building in this village and provide students with good learning conditions.
Due to the construction of this additional building at Secondary General Education Institution No. 25, appropriate measures were taken. The institution is connected to the district heating system, and a constant temperature is maintained in the classrooms.
Each of the two additional buildings houses early childhood development centres, which lay the foundation for the intellectual, psychological and social development of children from a very early age.
Special educational and training activities are carried out for children using the necessary resources, preparing them for the school stage.
In continuation of the Government's commitment to developing healthcare, the maternity, pediatric, intensive care, and surgical departments at the Temurmalik District Health Center were renovated and equipped with a wide range of specialized devices and equipment.
Medical services to the population are provided by 40 doctors using modern devices and equipment.
The renovation and equipping of the Temurmalik District Health Center was carried out with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and with the involvement of development partners.
The maternity, surgical, intensive care and pediatric departments are designed to accommodate 100 people at a time.
The President of Tajikistan donated an ambulance to this medical facility, which elicited gratitude and appreciation from staff and the public.
The construction of new drinking water supply lines in the Temurmalik district was among the most important projects remotely inaugurated by Emomali Rahmon.
Two projects related to providing residents with clean drinking water were implemented by the generous entrepreneur Khabibullo Sulaimonov.
In the administrative center of the district – the city of Bahmanrud, the villages of Tanobchi and Gurdovaron, the microdistricts of Bakhoduron, Chashma, Zarkamar, Guronde, Saidmuminabod and Verkhniy Tanobchi, there has been a shortage of water for many years.
The head of state's attention to improving the people's living conditions contributed to the resolution of this issue.
The implementation of this initiative reflects the support of patriotic residents for the humane policies of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, thanks to which 30,000 residents of the Temurmalik district have gained access to clean drinking water.
It is planned that in the near future, another 5,000 residents of remote villages in the region, located up to 12 kilometers away, will be provided with clean drinking water.
Water from the Surkhob River is stored in a 7,000 cubic meter reservoir and first allowed to settle. The water undergoes several stages of purification using modern equipment and is first pumped into eight reservoirs built at various locations, and from there into residents' homes. According to the design, the pumping stations are capable of pumping up to 4,500 cubic meters of water per day.
To ensure efficient water use, meters were installed in every home. A local entrepreneur took on the repairs to the facilities and equipment, as well as electricity and other costs for the water pumping stations, and decided to use the proceeds from the water usage fees for other purposes.
Head of State Emomali Rahmon called businessman Khabibullo Sulaimonov's initiative a good example of humanism and highly praised his contribution to the development of the Motherland, ordering him to be nominated for a state award.
