The Agency for Innovation and Digital Technologies under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan is implementing a pilot project to digitalize public services, according to the agency's press service.
The project is being implemented within the framework of state policy on the development of the digital economy and e-government and is considered one of the key state reforms in the field of digitalization.
The main goal of the initiative is to create a modern, transparent and accessible system for providing public services to citizens and entrepreneurs.
The project includes the Unified Portal of State Services, which has already become one of the country's main digital platforms for providing government services electronically.
Thanks to the portal, citizens and businesses can receive necessary services remotely, without visiting government agencies, saving time and financial resources.
Hundreds of government services are currently available electronically through the platform. These include issuing a power of attorney to operate a vehicle, obtaining a criminal record certificate, permitting the use of vehicles with tinted windows, registering weddings, obtaining construction permits, and other services.
The Agency emphasizes that one of the project's main advantages is the ability to receive government services 24/7 from any region of the country, and even beyond, with internet access and a mobile device.
The agency also stated that it intends to continue implementing pilot projects in priority sectors of the national economy using modern technologies and international experience.
The Agency believes that the development of e-government is an important step toward increasing transparency, efficiency, and shaping Tajikistan's digital future.
