On March 29, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, commissioned a residential building for social workers in the city of Khujand.
This event is seen as a logical continuation of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan's social policy aimed at improving the living conditions of workers in the education and healthcare sectors, according to the press service of the President of Tajikistan.
The residential building consists of nine floors and 40 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Providing housing for workers in healthcare, education, culture, law enforcement, and government agencies contributes to improving living standards and creating decent working and living conditions for teachers, educators, and medical personnel.
The head of state visited the Center for the Study of Innovative Technologies on the building's ground floor and launched its operations. The center's opening is seen as a key step toward developing a new technological ecosystem in Khujand. The center could become a platform for attracting young talent, educators, and industry professionals, as well as for implementing new ideas in information technology and artificial intelligence.
One of the center's areas of focus is the application of artificial intelligence technologies in agriculture. As an agricultural country, the Republic of Tajikistan has significant potential in this area, and the use of modern technologies can contribute to increased productivity and production efficiency.
Another area of the center's activity is the development of digital technologies in the healthcare sector.
The center's activities include the development and implementation of electronic patient registration systems, electronic medical records, and digital platforms for managing medical information.
The introduction of modern mobile payment systems, e-wallets, and online lending platforms aims to ensure the transparency and security of financial transactions, as well as the development of a digital and green economy.
During the event, the President of Tajikistan presented apartment keys to 30 employees in the education and healthcare sectors. This move, ahead of the International Holiday of Navruz, is seen as a sign of support and appreciation for teachers, educators, and healthcare workers.
On the same day, in Khujand, the President of Tajikistan opened the administrative building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Sughd Region.
The building was constructed by the construction company Somoni Istiklol in honor of the 35th anniversary of State independence.
The opening of the facility is seen as a step toward developing entrepreneurship, expanding economic ties, and improving the investment climate. With the building's completion, 30 local residents have been provided with permanent jobs.
During the visit, it was emphasized that employees must work with a high level of responsibility, improve their professional knowledge, master advanced global practices, and utilize modern technologies.
It was noted that services for entrepreneurs should be transparent, high-quality, and timely.
Employees are encouraged to strive to create a favorable environment for the development of entrepreneurship and attracting foreign investors.
The new building was constructed to meet modern requirements. It houses the examination and certification department, as well as the foreign economic relations department. They are equipped with modern equipment and provide services to entrepreneurs.
The upper floors house a meeting room, executive offices, and support spaces. The conference room is equipped with modern audiovisual technology, making it ideal for meetings, forums, and business gatherings.
The building's territory is landscaped, green, equipped with parking and auxiliary facilities.
On the same day, the President of Tajikistan remotely commissioned a number of social and industrial facilities.
The Neiramed Diagnostic and Treatment Center was built by entrepreneur Ilkhomi Tojiboy. The building has 64 beds. The introduction of modern equipment ensures the provision of high-quality medical services.
The Daleron poultry processing and semi-finished product production facility is designed to process 120 tons of chicken meat and produce 10 types of products.
The Shirinihoi Anas manufacturing facility was built by entrepreneur Ganizoda Daler on a 600-square-meter site. Its capacity is over 4 tons of products per month, with an annual output of 40 tons.
The National Teahouse "Navruz" was also commissioned for recreation for older residents in the Temurmalik mahalla of Khujand.
In addition, in Khujand, the President of Tajikistan opened the Center for Culture and Development of Innovative Technologies at the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics.
With the commissioning of the facility, 15 permanent jobs were created.
During a meeting with students, the head of state encouraged young people to study the exact sciences and modern technologies in depth.
The facility includes a 720-seat auditorium, the Artificial Intelligence Center and IT Park, a dissertation council hall, a museum, a folk crafts exhibition, a small hall for music and dance instruction, and auxiliary facilities.
The Artificial Intelligence Center and IT Park serve as a platform for the development of digital technologies and the training of specialists.
The center is developing artificial intelligence systems, digitalizing the educational process, and advancing scientific research.
It is equipped with modern computers and connected to high-speed Internet.
The university has three dissertation councils that ensure the conduct of scientific meetings and the defense of dissertations.
The university museum reflects the history and achievements of the university, including materials on Emomali Rahmon's visits and the academic achievements of its faculty.
The small hall is designed to develop students’ creative abilities.
The exhibition of folk crafts displays examples of national art.
The university has 6 faculties, 30 departments, 5 academic buildings, a dormitory, an electronic library, a sports complex, 16 computer rooms, laboratories, a courtroom, a legal clinic, and training centers.
The building is equipped with heating systems, fire alarms, video surveillance and modern electrical equipment.
During his tour of the facility, the President of Tajikistan praised the quality of the construction work.
