A massive attack by the Russian Armed Forces on the city of Lozovaya in the Kharkiv region damaged critical infrastructure, destroyed residential buildings, and injured civilians. This was reported by Serhiy Zelensky, head of the Lozovaya City Military Administration.
"Lozovaya experienced the largest attack since the start of the full-scale war. Critical infrastructure, apartment buildings, and private homes were damaged. Injuries were reported, including two children," he said.
According to Zelenskyy, emergency services are currently working in the city, and work on eliminating the consequences of the attack is ongoing. Some areas of the city, including Avilovka and the Katerynivka Starostinsky District, are without power. Water supply interruptions are also occurring.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy later clarified that the strike killed one person and wounded more than ten. A railway depot and a train station were hit. He noted that the Russian army launched more than 25 attack drones against civilian targets in Lozova.
Furthermore, according to him, attacks were also recorded in the Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, and Sumy regions. In the village of Belenke, Zaporizhzhia district, two civilians were injured by Russian FPV drones. "Once again, the Russian army is hunting for people to intimidate frontline towns and communities," the Ukrainian leader noted.
