An "Electronic Contact Center for Receiving Citizens' Appeals" has been established under the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Directorate in the capital of Tajikistan, the department's press service reported .
The center operates 24/7 and can be dialed at 102 and 02 to receive incident reports, complaints, and inquiries from citizens. This initiative was implemented at the direction of Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali to ensure timely processing of inquiries, unimpeded call reception, and prompt dispatch of an investigative team to the scene.
The department noted that the new contact center will allow citizens to maintain constant contact with the police, and will allow officers to promptly identify and prevent offenses and crimes, improving the speed of response to incidents in the capital.
This initiative is aimed at improving interaction between law enforcement agencies and the public and increasing the level of security in the city.
