On the occasion of the 34th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, President Emomali Rahmon has received congratulatory messages and telegrams from heads of state, government, international organizations, as well as prominent political and public figures.
In their addresses, foreign leaders praised Tajikistan's achievements in strengthening statehood, socioeconomic development, and enhancing the country's international prestige.
Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that Tajikistan has achieved significant success on the global stage and emphasized the allied nature of Russian-Tajik relations. "I am confident that we will continue to strengthen constructive bilateral ties for the benefit of our friendly peoples," the Russian leader stated.
In his message, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping expressed satisfaction with the pace of implementation of the "National Development Strategy of Tajikistan until 2030" and noted Beijing's readiness to continue deepening political mutual trust and jointly build the "One Belt, One Road" initiative.
US President Donald Trump emphasized the importance of the US-Tajikistan partnership, noting Dushanbe's contribution to strengthening regional stability. "The United States values security cooperation and looks forward to further developing our friendship and cooperation," he said in his congratulatory message.
Warm words were also expressed by the leaders of Central Asian countries. Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted Emomali Rahmon's outstanding role in the development of Tajik statehood. Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the progressive development of the two countries' strategic partnership, while Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov expressed confidence in the further strengthening of good-neighborly relations.
Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov assured Ashgabat of its readiness to develop bilateral cooperation, while Iranian President Masoudi Pizishkiyon particularly noted the historical and cultural ties between the Tajik and Iranian peoples.
The monarchs of Great Britain and Japan also sent congratulations. King Charles III noted the importance of joint efforts to address global challenges, including climate change. Emperor Naruhito of Japan wished the Tajik people happiness and prosperity.
Thus, a wide range of international partners confirmed their respect and support for Tajikistan and its leadership, emphasizing the country's importance in ensuring peace and stability in Central Asia.
