Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda took part in a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM-Belarus-2025", held on September 29 in Minsk, the press service of the Government of Tajikistan reported.
During the meeting, the heads of government discussed the current state and prospects for economic cooperation among the CIS countries. Particular attention was paid to economic issues, trade, investment, industry, agriculture, customs, science, education, tourism, culture, and healthcare.
Following the meeting, strategic documents were approved, including the CIS Scientific and Technological Development Strategy for 2026–2035, the Strategy for the Development of the Information Society and Digital Economy until 2035, and a plan for the digitalization of the main multimodal transport corridors of the CIS member states. These decisions create a solid regulatory and institutional foundation for the further development of interstate cooperation.
That same day, Kokhir Rasulzoda participated in the INNOPROM-Belarus-2025 International Industrial Exhibition, where he delivered a speech emphasizing the long-standing friendly relations between Tajikistan and Belarus, based on mutual respect and trust. The Prime Minister noted that industry plays a key role in bilateral cooperation and recalled the reforms being implemented in Tajikistan to improve the investment climate.
"We are actively attracting investment in technology sectors and modernizing production capacity. We are introducing electronic services for investors, reducing paperwork, and ensuring transparency in government agencies," said Kokhir Rasulzoda.
The Prime Minister noted that Tajikistan and Belarus will develop cooperation in technology exchange, joint ventures, logistics, transport, and cross-border trade. He highlighted 110 tax and customs incentives, as well as favorable operating conditions in free economic zones, inviting investors to implement new projects in the country.
The INNOPROM-Belarus-2025 exhibition became a platform for showcasing the achievements of participating countries and the private sector, exchanging experiences, finding new partners, and implementing joint projects.
