On September 30, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon reviewed a detailed development plan for the village of Vashgird in the Faizabad district. The master plan envisages the construction of a new settlement on an area of 163 hectares, designed to accommodate over 90,000 residents, according to the presidential press service.
The project includes the construction of multi-story residential buildings, five educational institutions with 1,200 places each, three kindergartens with 600 places, as well as administrative buildings for government agencies, including the prosecutor's office, the court, national security units, emergency response agencies, and other structures.
The project is planned for two phases: administrative buildings and residential buildings ranging from 6 to 10 stories will be constructed in the southern part of the village, while the remaining part will be 9 to 14 stories tall. Reconstruction of the village's administrative center is also planned.
During the project's development, special attention was paid to the national architectural style and the use of high-quality building materials. During his tour of the project, the President emphasized the importance of adhering to modern urban development standards and instructed those responsible to strictly oversee the construction process.
During his visit, the Leader of the Nation laid the foundation stone for a new secondary school with 1,280 students in two shifts and a 240-student kindergarten in the village of Sheramon, Mekhrobod rural jamoat. The facilities will be built by Tajik police veteran Bobojon Karimzoda and his entrepreneur son, Manuchehr Karimzoda, with a modern design. They previously began construction on another 400-student preschool in Dushanbe.
The President expressed gratitude to the veteran and his son for their initiative and instructed them to ensure high-quality completion of the construction. The implementation of these projects is expected to significantly improve the appearance of the Faizabad district, enhance the quality of life for residents, and create comfortable conditions for education and raising children.
