On June 19, two fatal traffic accidents occurred in Tajikistan, resulting in the deaths of a minor and an adult pedestrian, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the department, the accident occurred on June 19 at approximately 12:10 p.m. The driver of the Opel Astra, Bakhmanyor Valievich Murodov, born in 1993, a temporary resident of the village of Farkhor in the Farkhor District, was traveling along the road from the rural jamoat of Gulshan toward the village of Farkhor.
According to preliminary data, the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a pedestrian, Furkat Isoevich Mirzoev, born in 1983, a resident of the Mir Sayyid Ali Hamadoni district, Ikbol village.
The pedestrian died as a result of the injuries he sustained.
Another fatal accident occurred that same day at approximately 2:30 PM. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the driver of a KIA, Rasuldzhonzoda Muhammad Mirzoumed, born in 1999, a resident of the Abdurakhmon Jomi district, was traveling from the Khodjamaston village jamoat toward the village of Uyali in the Khuroson district.
In the center of the village jamoat of Khodjamaston, a car hit a minor pedestrian, Gulov Abubakr Akhmadovich, born in 2017, a resident of this jamoat.
As a result of a traffic accident, the child received various bodily injuries and died on the way to the hospital.
An investigation is being conducted into both incidents.
