The Republic of Tajikistan has been elected to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) for the 2027–2031 term. This was announced by the Permanent Mission of Tajikistan to the United Nations, according to NIAT Khovar.
It is noted that this achievement reflects Tajikistan's strong commitment to ensuring gender equality, empowering women and girls, and contributing to global efforts to protect their rights and opportunities.
The Permanent Mission of Tajikistan to the United Nations emphasized that the country is ready to cooperate with all Member States and international partners in strengthening the Commission's key mandates and sharing experiences in building inclusive and equitable societies.
