On April 9, a drinking water supply line was commissioned in the village of Neknoti Nav in Penjikent, with the participation of Sughd Region Chairman Rajab Akhmadzoda. This was reported by the regional governor's press service.
According to officials, the water supply project was implemented in preparation for the 35th anniversary of state independence with the support of the Penjikent City Executive Authority, development partners, and contributions from residents. The total cost of the project was over 1,820,000 somoni. As a result, approximately 1,300 people gained access to clean drinking water.





It is noted that the project's implementers plan to introduce similar socially significant initiatives in four more villages.
Regional Governor Rajab Akhmadzoda also participated in the village residents' Navruz celebrations and noted the importance of the commissioning of the water supply line for the population. He reported on the progress of improvement and construction work, emphasizing that the residents of Neknoti Nav, supporting the constructive policies of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, are making a significant contribution to the development of their community.
The head of the region also called on residents to educate the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, national pride, and respect for cultural and national values.
