Tajikistan's Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Abdurakhmon Abdurakhmonzoda, inspected the operations of the Dangara and Kulyab free economic zones on April 3–4, the ministry reported.
According to the department, the trip was aimed at commissioning new industrial enterprises, increasing the production volume of competitive products and creating new jobs, as well as familiarizing themselves with the progress of creative and construction work dedicated to the 35th anniversary of State independence.
It is noted that the country's free economic zones are among the most important tools for national economic development. They facilitate the creation of new jobs, the introduction of modern technologies, and an increase in the production of competitive domestic products.
During the trip, the minister met with the management, entrepreneurs, and investors of the free economic zones. Their requests and proposals were considered.
Following the meetings, responsible officials were given appropriate instructions to address existing problems.
