On February 26, 2026, a meeting was held in London between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Muhriddin, and the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom, Yvette Cooper. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
During the talks, the parties discussed a wide range of bilateral issues in the political, economic, educational and cultural spheres, as well as in the areas of security and migration.
It was highlighted that Tajikistan has significant untapped potential for attracting British investment in the mining, pharmaceutical, agricultural, science and education sectors.
