A joint meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers, and the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils took place in Bishkek, the CSTO press service reported.
On November 27, a joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM), the Council of Defense Ministers (CDM), and the Committee of Security Council Secretaries (CSCS) of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) was held in Bishkek under the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan. CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov and Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov, participated in the event.
During the event, CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov informed participants about the military-political situation in the Organization's area of responsibility and the Secretariat's activities during the intersessional period.
The meeting participants discussed current issues of joint work, including the implementation of the Anti-Drug Strategy, strengthening military cooperation, and developing the Organization's analytical potential.
Following the meeting, an agenda was proposed for the upcoming session of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
