In Dushanbe, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Tajikistan Homid Khoshimzoda met with the World Bank working group to discuss the implementation of the "Educational Environment: The Foundation of Quality Education" project. This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan.
As the department noted, Tajikistan, as a full member of the international community, is consistently working with its development partners to improve the quality of its education system. One significant area of this work is the implementation of the "Educational Environment: The Foundation of Quality Education" project, funded by the World Bank.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the progress of project activities and discussed the National Strategy for Education Quality Assessment through 2044. The Ministry clarified that an interdepartmental working group had been established in accordance with the strategy's requirements. National and international consultants prepared the necessary documents aimed at improving the education quality assessment and assurance system.
According to the Ministry of Education and Science, the project's implementation will contribute to the modernization of the educational environment, the introduction of modern approaches to student assessment, and the strengthening of the country's educational institutions.
