On September 30 in Dushanbe, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), together with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, officially announced the launch of a project to create a national digital platform, "Single Window for FEZs," implemented with Russian financial participation, reports NIAT Khovar.
The project presentation took place in Dushanbe at a press conference attended by representatives of government agencies, investors, and international partners.
The initiative aims to modernize services for investors, reduce administrative barriers, and increase the transparency of procedures in free economic zones. The platform will provide a unified digital interface for obtaining permits, complying with requirements, and renewing documents, as well as secure data exchange between agencies.
"The creation of the Single Window is an important step toward the digital transformation of Tajikistan's investment climate. We are confident that the project will become a catalyst for sustainable growth and investment," noted project manager Alexey Savrasov.
The project is designed to last 48 months and is being implemented in accordance with Tajikistan's National Development Strategy to 2030 and the Medium-Term Digital Economy Development Program. It encompasses the integration of key ministries and government agencies, automation of work processes, staff training, and regulatory support.
The platform's key features are expected to include standardized electronic forms and rules-based routing, compatibility with government systems for accelerated data processing, an access control model, and built-in monitoring capabilities.
It is noted that the project is intended to promote the economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan and will make an important contribution to strengthening Russian-Tajik cooperation in trade and investment.
