The Tajik State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Sadriddin Aini and the Karaganda Academic Musical Comedy Theatre signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at strengthening creative and professional ties between the two companies, the Tajik theatre's press service reported.
During a working trip to Kazakhstan, members of the Tajik theater's artistic and administrative staff discussed promising joint projects with their Kazakh colleagues. According to Kamoliddin Saifiddinzoda, Director of the Tajik State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, this trip opens up new opportunities for the theater's development and exchange of experience.
Deputy Director for International Relations and Commerce Tahmina Safarzoda held talks with the management of the Karaganda Theater, discussing specific areas of cooperation. The memorandum provides for the organization of joint cultural projects, professional exchanges, advanced training for artists and technical staff, and joint tours.
A meeting between the director of the Tajik theater, Kamoliddin Saifiddinzoda, and the head of the Karaganda theater, Amantay Ibraev, is planned for the near future to discuss the details of their joint work and the implementation of planned programs.
As part of the trip, leading soloists of the Tajik theater, Maria Mirzoeva and Manuchehr Rakhmonov, took part in the 14th Open Operetta and Musical Festival "DosStar," which took place in Karaganda and brought together artists from Russia, Hungary, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan. Their performances received high praise from the audience and the professional jury, highlighting the high level of performance skills of Tajik artists.
This cooperation aims not only to strengthen cultural ties between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, but also to promote the development of opera and musical comedy traditions in Central Asia.
