On August 21, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and Chairman of the City of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali opened a new building of the City Clinical Hospital for Intoxication and Burn Injuries in the Firdavsi district of the capital, the press service of the head of state reported.
The main building of the City Clinical Hospital for Intoxication and Burn Injuries in Dushanbe consists of seven floors and a basement and has 167 rooms, including 105 rooms for patient hospitalization with 230 beds, admission and diagnostic departments, surgery, burn injuries, intoxication, traumatology, nervous diseases, and other auxiliary facilities.
Construction work on the site began in 2022 and was completed on schedule using high-quality materials in accordance with industry requirements and elements of national architecture.
While inspecting the newly created facilities, the President praised the quality of the work performed and called the opening of this facility a worthy step and an example to follow in the name of a fitting celebration of the 35th anniversary of State independence.
It was emphasized that the opening of the new medical facility, built with funds from the Dushanbe City Executive Authority, is a celebratory gift from the country's government to the capital's healthcare workers.
This medical facility is equipped with 107 pieces of modern equipment and technology, including special beds for burn treatment, a mobile patient wash unit, a portable pressure chamber, a laser device for treating the consequences of burns, a device for therapeutic and cosmetic laser lifting, an ultrasound device for the treatment and rehabilitation of burn diseases, video equipment for endoscopy of the stomach and intestines, as well as a portable video endoscope and video bronchoscope, which are the latest technologies imported into Tajikistan for the first time.
In addition, digital X-rays, ultrasound diagnostic equipment, an electrocardiograph, and unique diagnostic and treatment equipment from leading countries around the world were imported, designed to provide high-quality medical services to the population.
The hospital employs 62 qualified doctors and young specialists with extensive experience in diagnosis, treatment, and performing various surgical operations.
Other floors of the hospital house departments with treatment beds and other necessary services for the effective work of doctors and the convenience of patients.
With the expansion of its capacity, the new building of the City Clinical Hospital for Intoxication and Burn Injuries in Dushanbe now houses the Department of General Surgery No. 2 of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University and the Department of Nerve Diseases, Traumatology, and Orthopedics of the Institute of Postgraduate Education of Healthcare Workers of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The hospital also has a medicinal herb corner, where healing drinks are prepared using these gifts of nature from Tajikistan.
In addition, the hospital has a conference hall with 60 seats and a cafeteria with 108 seats.
A parking lot has also been built on the hospital grounds.
The building was constructed according to a beautiful architectural design, the courtyard and surrounding area were landscaped and landscaped, and the installation of decorative lanterns added a special charm to the beautiful city of Dushanbe.
