Tajikistan's gross domestic product in the first half of 2025 amounted to 70.8 billion somoni, an 8.1% increase compared to the same period in 2024, according to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan.
"Despite global challenges, we have managed to ensure sustainable economic growth. This demonstrates that Tajikistan's economy is capable of adapting to new conditions and maintaining positive momentum," the statement noted.
It is also noted that from 2021 to 2025, the country's GDP grew 2.9 times compared to the same period in 2016–2020.
