Since the beginning of 2025, residential, educational and medical facilities have been put into operation in Tajikistan. This was reported on Thursday at a press conference at the Committee for Architecture and Construction under the Government of the Republic.
As noted by the department, in the first six months of the current year, the following were put into operation: residential buildings with a total area of 526.9 thousand square meters, schools designed for 10,697 student places, kindergartens for 510 places, and clinics with a capacity of 368 visits per shift.
In addition, in preparation for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence, a large-scale construction program is being implemented throughout the country. According to official data, 29,910 facilities for various purposes are planned to be built before the anniversary. As of July 1, construction work has been completed on 23,228 facilities, which is 78% of the total. Another 4,594 facilities are under construction.
The Committee stressed that the programme covers both social and engineering infrastructure and is implemented in close cooperation with local governments and the private sector.
