The regional chairman emphasized that, under current conditions, regular water supply to agricultural crops is one of the key factors in increasing yields and increasing the volume of agricultural production, including cotton.
At the same time, it was reported that work is continuing to restore the pressure pipelines at the Mirzochul-2 pumping station. Specialists are taking the necessary measures to ensure the timely completion of this infrastructure work.
During the visit, the Sughd Region Governor also inspected the cotton crops at the Asilbek farm. It was noted that the farm has 30 hectares of land, 18 of which are used for cotton cultivation. The crops are in good condition, and the farmers are expecting a bountiful harvest.
The regional governor also visited the Rakhimjon farm. Here, wheat is grown on 2 hectares, barley on 1.5 hectares, and cotton on 4 hectares. The grain harvest is currently underway, and the farmers intend to fully harvest the crop and use the land resources as efficiently as possible.
