Tajikistan's Hydrometeorological Service has warned of continued adverse weather conditions in several regions of the country.
According to the department, the risk of mudslides remains due to expected precipitation in the foothill and mountainous regions of the districts of republican subordination, Khatlon and Sughd regions, as well as in the west of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, from June 6 to 8.
In addition, an increase in water levels in the Isfara, Zarafshon, Obihingou, Vakhsh, Panj, Yakhsu, Kyzylsu (southern) rivers, as well as in the rivers flowing down the southern slopes of the Gissar Range, cannot be ruled out.
Due to adverse weather conditions, citizens are advised to take precautions and heed the warnings of experts.
