On June 5, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, sent a congratulatory telegram to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, the press service of the head of state reported.
The telegram reads:
“Dear Sadyr Nurgozhoevich,
I sincerely congratulate you and the friendly Kyrgyz people on this significant event: the election of the Kyrgyz Republic as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2027-2028.
I regard this important event, both for Kyrgyzstan and the entire region, as further evidence of the country's high prestige and recognition of your constructive foreign policy in the international arena.
I am convinced that the constructive work of the Kyrgyz Republic in this key UN body will give additional impetus to our common efforts to strengthen regional and global stability and security.
I wish you, dear Sadyr Nurgozhoevich, good health and new achievements in public affairs, and to brotherly Kyrgyzstan – peace, dynamic progress, and the successful fulfillment of your upcoming important mission as a member of the UN Security Council."
