In honor of International Children's Day, civil registry offices of the Ministry of Justice of Tajikistan, together with healthcare institutions, held a series of educational and social events. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice of Tajikistan.
As part of the campaign, 758 newborns were ceremoniously presented with birth certificates and commemorative gifts at medical institutions across the country.

In addition, the organizers conducted outreach activities aimed at raising citizens' legal awareness about the importance of state birth registration, protecting children's rights and interests, and parents' responsibilities in ensuring their children's rights. Information materials and leaflets were distributed to event participants.

During the meetings, it was emphasized that a birth certificate is a child's first official document. It was also noted that state birth registration plays an important role in ensuring children's constitutional rights, including the right to a name, citizenship, social protection, healthcare, and education.
The Ministry of Justice reported that civil registry offices will continue to take necessary measures to ensure timely state registration of births and improve legal education for the population.
