An artificial intelligence laboratory has been commissioned at M. Nazarshoev Khorog State University, according to the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan.
The opening ceremony was attended by the rector of the university, Komilbek Amid Yorbek, and a representative of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Director of the Abdurahmon Jami Research Institute for Education Development of the Academy of Education of Tajikistan, Sirojiddin Niyozi.
The center was established in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, voiced in his latest Address to the country's highest legislative body. It emphasized that the rapid development of digital technologies and the expanding capabilities of artificial intelligence require the effective use of these advances in all areas, as well as their transformation into an additional source of economic growth and services exports.


The center provides the university's undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, as well as young researchers, with the opportunity to develop various programs using modern technologies. The center's work is aimed at strengthening research potential and training highly qualified specialists in digital technology.
The opening of the center is seen as an important step toward implementing innovative advances and aligning the university's activities with modern scientific and technological trends. It is emphasized that the creation of such structures forms the foundation for the development of artificial intelligence, programming, data analysis, and other priority areas of information technology.







The center is also equipped with modern technology, allowing students and faculty to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience and actively participate in the implementation of innovative projects.
The center's activities are expected to contribute to improving the quality of education, developing scientific research, training competitive personnel, and implementing the results obtained in various sectors of the country's economy.
