Over 400,000 destructive information resources have been identified and suspended in Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states by 2025. This was announced by CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov at the Infoforum 2026 plenary session on Wednesday, according to the CSTO press service.

"The interim results for 2025 demonstrate the scale of the negative impact on the information space of the organization's member states. More than 400,000 destructive information resources have been identified and suspended," Semerikov said.
According to his data, over 300 thousand criminal cases were initiated during the specified period, and more than 12 thousand people were convicted in previously initiated cases.
The CSTO Deputy Secretary General also noted that countering hybrid threats, protecting digital social services, and securing critical infrastructure remain relevant topics for information security.
