A working meeting with representatives of the UK's FCDO mission was held at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan. The event was part of the regional project "Accelerating Education Improvement in Central Asia for Sustainable Development," according to the ministry's press service.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Khomid Khoshimzoda, heads of the ministry's structural divisions, and representatives of the international mission.
During the meeting, issues related to the implementation of joint projects, improvement of the education quality assessment system, and the application of modern international practices in the development of the education system were discussed.
It was noted that in recent years, the country's education system has undergone a number of important reforms, and cooperation with international partners plays a key role. The implementation of joint programs and initiatives creates favorable conditions for strengthening national capacity in assessing educational outcomes, developing modern assessment tools, and improving the quality of education.
The mission includes a series of meetings with relevant institutions and international partners, as well as visits to educational institutions to familiarize themselves with the testing process and the use of assessment tools.
The parties expressed their readiness to continue fruitful cooperation and further implement joint initiatives in the development of the education system and improving the quality of education.
