Ten children from Tajikistan with congenital heart defects, along with one of their parents, will be sent to the People's Republic of China for surgery. Treatment will be provided free of charge, according to the press service of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It is noted that the transfer of children to China is carried out within the framework of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People's Republic of China in the field of healthcare, with the support of the Chinese side.


The issue of sending Tajik children to China was discussed today, March 12 of this year, at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan.
A corresponding meeting took place between Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population Zulfiya Abdusamatzoda and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Tajikistan Guo Jijun.
Zulfiya Abdusamatzoda expressed gratitude to the Chinese side for mutually beneficial cooperation in developing the country's healthcare and social protection systems.






During the meeting, it was noted that Tajik doctors will also be sent to China to participate in surgical operations and study the best practices of Chinese specialists.
This is expected to allow Tajik specialists to gain practical experience and will further facilitate the introduction of new treatment methods in the republic.
