On March 29, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, inaugurated a residential building in the city of Khujand for social workers.
This event is seen as a continuation of the implementation of the social policy of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, aimed at improving the living conditions of workers in the education and healthcare sectors.
The nine-story residential building includes 40 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Providing housing for healthcare, education, culture, law enforcement, and government employees is aimed at improving living standards and creating decent working and living conditions for teachers, educators, and medical workers.

During the tour, the head of state learned about the activities of the Center for the Study of Innovative Technologies, located on the building's ground floor, and officially launched its operations. The center's opening is seen as one step toward the formation of a new technological ecosystem in Khujand.
It is noted that the center could become a platform for attracting young specialists, teachers, and industry professionals, as well as for implementing new ideas in the field of information technology and artificial intelligence.

One of the Center for Innovative Technologies' areas of focus is the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in agriculture. The Republic of Tajikistan, as an agricultural country, has significant potential in this area, and the use of modern technologies can contribute to increased productivity and efficiency in agricultural production.
Another important focus of the center's work is the development of digital technologies in healthcare. Specifically, it provides the opportunity to develop and implement electronic patient registration systems, electronic medical records, and digital platforms for managing medical information.

Furthermore, the implementation of modern mobile payment systems, e-wallets, and online lending platforms can ensure the transparency and security of financial transactions and facilitate the development of a digital and green economy.
During the event, Emomali Rahmon presented apartment keys to 30 employees in the education and healthcare sectors. This move, taken ahead of the Navruz holiday, is seen as a sign of support and appreciation for teachers, educators, and healthcare workers.
